Talking with others

It's ok to talk honestly about your drinking or drug use. You could talk with people who care about you, and this could help you figure out if there are any changes you might want to make.

Check in with these people regularly about how you are feeling. If you are struggling, be honest about that. Let them know if you are trying to make changes to your drinking or drug use – they could help.
